According to data from the International Aluminium Institute, global primary aluminum production in January 2024 reached 6.039 million tons. The figure was revised to 5.900 million tons for the same period last year and 6.042 million tons for the previous month. The daily average production of primary aluminum in January was 194,800 tons, slightly lower than the 194,900 tons in the previous month.
It is anticipated that China's primary aluminum production in January will be 3.562 million tons, slightly down from 3.565 million tons in the previous month.
