China's Exports of Unwrought Aluminum and Aluminum Products Fell by 11.0% Year-on-Year in January-February

According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, China exported 370,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products in February 2025, down 10.6% year-on-year. The total export volume for January-February reached 860,000 tons, marking an 11.0% year-on-year decline.

In February, China exported 210,000 tons of alumina, an increase of 48.9% year-on-year, bringing the total export volume for January-February to 400,000 tons, up 45.9% year-on-year.

China imported 320,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products in February, a year-on-year decrease of 6.3%. The cumulative imports for January-February amounted to 610,000 tons, down 15.8% year-on-year.

Meanwhile, China imported 14.41 million tons of bauxite in February, reflecting a 28.3% year-on-year increase. The total bauxite imports for January-February reached 30.62 million tons, up 25.6% year-on-year.
